I confirm that the fuel tank can also be produced in a totally transparent version, but please consider a few things: at the junctions between the two shells there will necessarily be white mastic used to glue the two parts, and the same thing at the fuel cocks mountings. White mastic is also used for the cap fitting, unless you choose the Aeronautical cap tank, whose fitting is screwed and not glued.
In some places, the molds have imperfections that are covered during painting, achieving a perfect finish; if not painted, any imperfections will remain visible. Finally, the resin used is not perfectly transparent but as you can see in the photo of the tank found at the following link, it has shades of yellow

If I can give you my opinion, ordering it transparent can be a good choice as it does not involve any surcharge and can always be painted in case you do not like it but you may need to paint at least some parts to get a good result.
