JMP engine oil temperature thermometer with analog display: version with oil inside to dampen indicator movement. This thermometer screws onto the engine crankcase so it replaces the original oil level dipstick filler cap. The dipstick has no oil level mark but it is possible to engrave it at the maximum and minimum level for example with the edge of a file at the original one. The knurled steel outer ring provides a solid grip and facilitates installation and removal of the thermometer: complete with oil seal o-rign.

It is always recommended to compare the diameter and pitch of the fixing thread and the length of the oil level dipstick with those of the original filler cap!
